Recently, we have appraised two Frank Lloyd Wright designed homes, the Karl F. Staley House in Madison, Ohio and SAMARA in West Lafayette, Indiana. They were designed in the 1960’s in the Usonian style and are the only Wright designed homes in their market. These homes have a unique national market as they often have more value than other properties in the immediate area. Some Wright homes are subject to historic preservation easements and this must be considered in the valuation. Each home was appraised for the owner for possible donation to a 501c3 charity.
